Wooden Door Repair Plate

The Wooden Door Repair Plate is a wrap around plate designed as an emergency overnight repair kit to resecure a door after a break in, attempted break in or vandalism.  Customers can secure a door in minutes.

How it works

The wrap around plate will fit over an area of damage and bolt through the door to secure it.  The plate is then fitted with a  key lock or cylinder driven mortice lock to secure to door until a new door can be fitted.

Designed to fit a 44mm  door we can supply packing plates to allow it to be fitted to a 42 or 40mm composite door.

Lock

The plate is manufactured for any Era cylinder mortice deadlock from a Viscount to a high security Fortress lock. It can also be fitted with Era’s dual profile cylinder lockcase to suit an oval profile cylinder

By using multiple option lockcases any existing cylinder can be refitted to keep it under a master key system.  A new cylinder can be fitted if required.

The plate is supplied pre-fitted with either a BS deadlock or dual profile cylinder case for ease of fitting. In both cases the plate is supplied with self adhesive escutcheons to suit

Customers can also purchase it as a plate only to supply their own hardware, however this option does not include the threaded lock fixings so yo will need to secure the lock in the plate with nuts and bolts

Escutcheons

The plate is supplied with stick on escutcheons to match the prefitted lock.  Alternatively customers can specify either; keyhole, oval or euro profile for a plate only

Finishes
