Rim Electric Release Repair Plate

The Rim Electric Release Repair Plate is designed to repair a damaged door frame that is fitted with an access control system and a rim nightlach working with an electric release.  It also allows for simple and tidy installations where the frame has been damaged by vandalism or a break in.  It is also ideal for a new installation.

For a secure installation the plate secures in 2 planes for maximum resistance to vandalism or a break in.  Manufactured in stainless steel the plates offer a significant upgrade over the ordinary rim release.

The standard rim release fixing plate is vulnerable to kicking open.  The Rim Electric Release Repair Plate will allow you to hide any damage and fit a new electric release in the same location. Thereby removing the need to replace the frame.  This not only saves time and money but makes the door secure again immediately.

The plat will work with pretty much any standard budget release as well as a better quality Glutz release. The Electric Release Repair Plate is supplied without a release to save an installer money.  If you want a complete unit please call the shop on 01270 and we’ll be able to supply one.

The Rim Release Repair Pate is available in either white or brown.  We can also supply the plate in any RAL colour – just ask us for more details

Which electric release?

The Rim Release Plate is designed for standard electric releases. It uses the existing fixing points to secure the release to the plate .
